Guru Purnima Utsav: On the auspicious occasion of upcoming Guru Purnima, Guru Purnima Utsav will be celebrated by organizing a two-day program on 20th and 21st July in every government and non-government school of Madhya Pradesh. This time, to organize “Guru Purnima”, the School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh Government has issued a letter on 16 July directing all the educational institutions of the state to organize “Guru Purnima Utsav” program on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on 21 July 2024.
Guru Purnima Utsav Program:
In the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Madhya Pradesh Government on 1 July 2024, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Mohan Yadav had directed to organize Guru Purnima on 21 July 2024 in every educational institution of Madhya Pradesh. In compliance with this, it has been decided by the state government that a two-day program will be organized on 20 and 21 July 2024 on the occasion of Guru Purnima in all the government and non-government schools of the state.

Invitation to the Guru Purnima Utsav program
: As many saints, gurus, teachers, retired teachers, Ex students and common people will also be invited to the two-day program of Guru Purnima Utsav on 21 July 2024.
Events to be held on 20 July 2024:
- On the first day of the two-day Guru Purnima Utsav program, teachers will give a speech on the importance of Guru Purnima and traditional Guru Shishya culture. Through this, teachers will present various facts on the glory, necessity and importance of Guru to the children.
- Children will also be made to write essays on the Gurukul system prevalent in ancient Indian history and its impact on Indian culture.
Events to be held on 21 July 2024:
- On the second day of the two-day Guru Purnima Utsav program celebrated in schools, lighting of lamps and garlanding will be done along with Saraswati Vandana, Guru Vandana during the prayer meeting in the presence of all the teachers, former retired teachers, former students and saints.
- Gurus, retired teachers and other guru-like persons will be respected.
- On this occasion, a speech will also be given by the students and teachers on Guru Smaran, in which light will be thrown on the Indian Guru-disciple tradition.
